Course Notes on Fundamentals of Electrical Engineering

Purpose:

This site provides educational resources for subjects in the Electrical Engineering curriculum that I prepared during my years of teaching courses in Electrical Engineering at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.  The resources include lecture notes, homework problems, examinations, and other documents.  It should be stated up-front that there is nothing new or original regarding the content of these resources.  They are provided simply to assist the novice with learning these subjects.

About Author:

Frank J. Mercede received the BSEE (first honors), MSEE and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical Engineering in 1981, 1983 and 1989 from Drexel University and is a licensed Professional Engineer in the state of Pennsylvania.  Frank has taught a wide variety of undergraduate-level and graduate-level courses in Electrical Engineering for Widener University (1988 - 1995) and Villanova University (1996 - 2020) and received honorable mention for the Lindback Outstanding Teacher Award in 2009, 2007, 2005, 2004, 2003, and 2002 in recognition of his excellence in teaching.
